Setting up auto-scans
Auto-scans run automatically on a schedule, so you always have fresh MentionShare data without manually triggering scans.
How to enable auto-scan
Go to Settings
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar.
Click AI Scans tab
Find the auto-scan configuration section.
Toggle Auto-scan on
Enable the toggle. Choose Daily or Weekly frequency.
Save settings
Click Save. Your business will now be scanned automatically.
Auto-scan behavior
When does it run?
Daily scans run at 6am UTC. Weekly scans run every Monday at 6am UTC.
Which prompts does it use?
All active prompts in your Prompt Library for that business.
Which engines does it use?
All engines available on your plan.
Does it count toward my limit?
Yes — auto-scans use your monthly prompt allowance.
Will I get notified?
Yes — if you have Slack alerts configured, you'll get a summary after each auto-scan.
