Inviting team members
TrueCite supports team collaboration on all plans. Invite colleagues to view scans, run analyses, and manage fixes together. Each business profile has its own team roster — inviting someone to one business does not give them access to your other businesses.
How to invite a team member
Go to Settings → Team
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then click the Team tab.
Enter their email
Type the email address of the person you want to invite. They do not need a TrueCite account yet — it is created when they accept.
Select their role
Choose Admin, Member, or Viewer based on their access needs. See Roles and Permissions for the full breakdown.
Send invite
Click Invite. They'll receive an email with an invite link valid for 7 days. The link is also copied to your clipboard so you can share it directly.
They accept the invite
When they click the link, they are prompted to create a TrueCite account (or sign in if they already have one). On acceptance, they are added as an active team member with the role you selected.
Team seat limits by plan
Managing active members
From the Team tab you can see all active members, their role, and when they joined. To change a member's role, click the role badge next to their name and select a new role — they receive an email notification. To remove a member, click the three-dot menu and select Remove. Removed members lose access immediately.
Pending invites
Invites that have not been accepted show as Pending in the Team tab. You can resend or revoke a pending invite at any time. Pending invites count against your seat limit. If an invite expires (after 7 days), it is automatically removed and the seat is freed.
Team members and billing
Team members share the scan prompt allowance of the business owner's plan. They do not have their own separate limits. Only the business owner manages billing — team members with Admin or Member roles cannot access the Billing tab.
For agencies: add your client as a Viewer so they can see their own scan results without being able to change settings, run new scans, or view other clients' data. Viewers have read-only access to the business they were invited to.
