Managing multiple businesses
Starter and above plans support multiple business profiles within a single TrueCite account. This is designed for agencies managing multiple clients, or companies tracking multiple brands, products, or regional entities independently.
Business limits by plan
Creating a new business profile
Go to Settings → Business
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar and click the Business tab.
Click Add Business
The Add Business button appears if you are below your plan's business limit.
Enter business details
Provide the business name, website, industry, and a description. The description is used by Fix Generator to generate tailored content.
Set as active
The new business is created as a secondary profile. Use the sidebar switcher to make it the active business.
Data isolation per business
Each business profile is fully isolated. Scan history, competitors, prompts, fix blocks, GA4 connection, GSC connection, and AI audit results are all stored per-business. Switching businesses in the sidebar switches all dashboard data to that business's context.
Switching between businesses
Click the business name in the top of the sidebar to open the business switcher. Select the business you want to work with. The entire dashboard instantly reflects that business's data — scans, fixes, prompts, and integrations.
Primary business
One business is always designated as your Primary business. It is the default that loads on first login. To change the primary business, go to Settings → Business → set the target business as primary. Note: you cannot delete the primary business — set another as primary first.
Deleting a business profile
To delete a secondary business, go to Settings → Business and click Delete. All scans, fixes, and data for that business are soft-deleted and can be recovered by contacting support within 30 days. The primary business cannot be deleted.
Agencies: give each client their own business profile and invite them as a Viewer so they can track their AI visibility without accessing other clients' data.
