Quick start guide
Get your first MentionShare score in under 5 minutes.
Create your account
Go to truecite.ai and sign up. Choose Lite ($29/mo) or start a 7-day free trial on Starter or Pro.
Complete onboarding
Enter your brand name, website URL, and industry. TrueCite uses this to pre-populate relevant scan prompts for your category.
Add 2–5 competitors
Enter competitor brand names during onboarding. TrueCite tracks their MentionShare alongside yours for side-by-side comparison.
Run your first scan
Go to Scans → New Scan. Select engines, add 2–3 buyer-intent prompts, and click "Run Scan Now".
Read your results
Your dashboard shows your MentionShare score (0–100%), engine breakdown, competitor comparison, and which prompts triggered mentions.
Generate your first fix
Go to Fix Generator → select a prompt where you scored 0 → click "Generate Fix". Copy the FAQ block to your website.
Start with 3–5 high-intent prompts that your buyers actually ask. Generic prompts produce generic results. Think: “What's the best [your category] for [your ICP]?”
