Per-Prompt Country Targeting
Assign up to 5 target countries per prompt to track your brand's AI visibility in specific markets. Countries are included at no extra scan cost — 1 prompt = 1 credit regardless of how many countries are targeted.
How it works
When you add a country to a prompt, TrueCite appends country context to the prompt at scan time: “(Answer for a user searching from [Country])”. This tells the AI engine to consider local market conditions, local competitors, and local language context in its response.

country field on every aeo_scans row — filter scan results by country
Setting target countries
Go to Prompt Library → My Prompts tab
Navigate to your saved prompts list.
Find the prompt you want to target
Click the country selector (flag icon) on the prompt row.
Select up to 5 countries
Choose countries from the dropdown. Select "🌐 Global" to clear all country targeting.
Changes save automatically
No Save button required — country selection persists immediately.
Supported countries (30 targetable)
Run the same prompt for US, UK, and AU to compare how AI engines in English-speaking markets differ in recommending your brand. Regional AI behavior often varies significantly.
