Setting up your business
The onboarding flow sets up your business profile — the foundation for all scans and fixes.
What you'll enter
Business name
Your exact brand name as it should appear in AI responses. Capitalization matters — "Notion" not "notion".
Website URL
Your primary domain. Used to pre-scan your existing content and suggest improvements.
Industry
Helps TrueCite generate industry-specific prompts from our library of 102 templates across 10 industries.
Competitors
Add 2–5 main competitors. TrueCite tracks their AI visibility alongside yours.
Initial prompts
The first buyer-intent questions to scan. You can add more any time in the Prompt Library.
Editing your profile later
Go to Settings → Business to update your business name, website, industry, and primary language at any time. Changes take effect on your next scan.
You can manage multiple businesses on Starter+ plans. Each business gets its own scan history, fix blocks, and competitor tracking.
